About Us

The Pelham Elks Lodge on Morgan Park Road has built a quiet but steady reputation as the go-to gathering place for Shelby County. Ask anyone who has rented the hall and they will tell you the same thing: the space is generous, the people running it are genuinely helpful, and the grilled salmon at lodge dinners is reason enough to show up on its own.

The lodge features two distinct seating areas, so your event can flow naturally from a serving station in one room to a relaxed dining setup in the other. The full commercial kitchen means you are not hauling in cold trays and hoping for the best. You heat, plate, and serve the way you planned it. That practical layout is one of the details reviewers keep coming back to, and it shows up in the lodge's consistent 4.5-star rating across dozens of community events.

Beyond event rentals, the lodge is an active chapter of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, a fraternal organization with deep roots in American civic life. Membership here connects you to a network of veterans, volunteers, and neighbors who show up when the community needs them. If you have been looking for a place that combines a usable venue with a meaningful mission, Morgan Park Road is worth the drive.

What We Offer

Rent the hall for a birthday party, graduation reception, corporate luncheon, or family reunion and you get access to the two-room layout that makes catering genuinely easy. One area handles your buffet or serving line, the other keeps your guests comfortable and seated. Capacity handles small gatherings and scales up to medium-sized functions without feeling cramped.

The full kitchen is available with your rental, giving you warming ovens, prep space, and the infrastructure to serve a real meal instead of a drop-off order. Lodge members and guests also enjoy regular dinners featuring fresh, made-to-order plates. The grilled salmon has earned its own fan base among regulars. Athletic fields and activity areas round out the property for organizations that need outdoor space alongside an indoor venue.

Membership in the lodge itself opens doors to community programs, charitable giving initiatives, and a social calendar that keeps the building active year-round. Whether you are booking a one-time event or joining as a member, the staff at the Pelham lodge will walk you through every detail so nothing falls through the cracks.

"Great space for hosting parties and gatherings. They have a full kitchen tht u can use to heat up food. They have 2 seperate sitting areas, so u can serve food in one and eat there. I think they can accomodaye up to 300 folks. Good ligjting and ventilation. Also they have a huge parking lot. The staff are super friendly and nice. You can pump up the volume as loud as you want as they are their own building and no one next to them on a hill. They have several clean restrooms as well so convinient for large gatherings."

Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
